Lifeguards have been monitoring the beaches of Foz do Lizandro, Sul, Algodio, Ribeira d'Ilhas, São Lourenço, Calada, Coxos and Pescadores since 20 April.

Since 20 April, lifeguards have been on duty during weekends and public holidays to ensure the safety of bathers on the beaches of the municipality of Mafra.

This procedure will continue in anticipation of the bathing season, which starts on 14 June, with daily surveillance until 15 September - from that date until 31 October the current procedure will be resumed.
