The quality of Ericeira's fresh fish and seafood is evident as soon as dawn breaks at the market stalls in this fishing village, where there are still people selling their products with the joy and colour of yesteryear. There are plenty of opportunities to visit the ground floor of Ericeira's market, but the most picturesque day is certainly Good Friday, when the market fills up with shoppers in search of the freshest mussels and the best fish for stews, so typical of this season.

On the floor above the fish market you can also find the traditional flower, fruit and vegetable stalls, filled with products from the Saloia region and, on the top floor, various types of handicrafts representing the municipality.

In this market, entertainment activities are held periodically, including show cooking and tastings of local products.
