The Municipal Water and Sanitation Services of Mafra (SMAS de Mafra) and the Municipality of Mafra were honoured with the "Public Water Supply Service Quality Seal" and the "Urban Waste Management Service Quality Seal", respectively, awarded by the Water and Waste Services Regulatory Authority (ERSAR).

 

This distinction is based on a rigorous system of evaluation of the services provided to consumers, based on indicators such as safe water, real water losses, occurrence of supply failures, recycling of selective collection waste, response to complaints and coverage of expenses.
