Erected in the urban fabric of the town of Ericeira, the Chapel of Santa Marta and Nossa Senhora das Necessidades is located on the outskirts of Santa Marta Park. Construction of the temple began in 1760 and, like the chapel next to Praia dos Pescadores, it carries a double name, the first of which (Santa Marta) is the most common one used to identify the temple.
