Considering the unequivocal public interest of the mission carried out by fire brigades in promoting the safety of people and property, the Municipality of Mafra and the Humanitarian Associations of Volunteer Firefighters (AHBV) of the Municipality of Mafra (Ericeira, Mafra and Malveira) have signed a collaboration protocol, which establishes the conditions for awarding municipal support to these associations, totalling 150,000 euros per year to each, in order to meet the great financial needs experienced by the AHBV.

 

Of this amount, 100,000 euros will be used to contribute to the association's current running costs and 50,000 euros to support investment costs, namely vehicles and work on its facilities.
