Progress Surf School

The surf school Progress is based in the north of Ericeira, in a typical Portuguese village called Ribamar. This is the place where you can eat the best seafood in Portugal and where you can find the most famous wave in Ericeira: the Coxos.

Most of the courses will be held in surf spots like São Lourenço, Coxos and Praia Azul.

We offer our clients surf lessons away from the busy and crowded beaches of Ericeira. We are the only surf school in Ribamar. We give our surf lessons on the quiet beaches of this area. Our surf teachers will carefully choose the best surf spot for your surfing level.

Our team of qualified teachers are local surfers who know and master perfectly all technical aspects of the sport. They know the region inside out and will be happy to share their knowledge and teach you how to read, surf and enjoy the ocean at its best. How to surf safely and how to feel confident in different surf conditions, that is what you will learn from us.

Start Progressing!

Weekly course including 5 days of surf lessons (Monday to Friday). Four to five hours of surf lessons per day. Surfing equipment is included in the price. There is a maximum of twelve students per course. You will be accompanied by a minimum of two qualified surf teachers. The surf lessons are made up of theory and practice. Five days to learn to surf anywhere in the world! With the manual and personal approach, photo and video coaching your progress is guaranteed. This course also includes transport from a meeting point to the beach.
