A "Erigáz" is the coastal gas distribution company in the Ericeira area, associated with Coprel.
COPREL was born in March 1977 and is located in Mafra in the street José Elias Garcia nº 15.
Since then, it has always followed the development of its core business, which is essentially the marketing and distribution of LPG - (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) in cylinders, bulk and piped, compressed and dissolved industrial gases and respective application materials, as well as machinery, tools, equipment for industry, PVC and iron pipes and fittings for water and sanitation pipelines.
However, the natural development of the business implied the construction of new support infrastructures at the supply level, the opening of new establishments in Mafra and Ericeira and the expansion of the service network to Torres Vedras and Sintra.
The scope of activity has been extended to include the construction of piped gas networks, the supply and assembly of HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) and solar energy equipment.
Outside the scope of certification the company also provides surveillance and security systems services from 2015.
The Coprel universe comprises three entities that carry out their activity in seven business areas, with seven establishments - including the Mafra Citizens' Shop -, more than twenty distribution vehicles and more than 30 employees qualified for their functions.
