The Municipality of Mafra would like to inform you that until 5 March, the preventive public participation period is underway for the 2nd revision of the Mafra Municipal Master Plan (PDM). The revision of this planning instrument, which establishes the development strategy and the desired territorial model for the municipal territory, stems from the need to adapt to changing environmental, economic, social and cultural conditions.

 

During this period, interested parties may make written comments and suggestions on any issues that may be considered within the scope of the process of the 2nd revision of the Mafra PDM, available for consultation at https://www.cm-mafra.pt/p/pdm.

Preventive public participation can be submitted online, by submitting the digital formYou can also submit your comments online, or on paper, by filling in and handing in the form "Modelo POT-06/2 - Apresentação de Sugestões/Reclamações" at the Mafra Town Hall service desk. In order to improve the efficiency of the municipal services, we recommend submitting your complaint online.

In this 2nd revision of the PDM, the aim is to ensure greater proximity, involvement and communication with civil society in the process of drafting, implementing and monitoring, reflecting on the major strategic options for planning and land use in the Municipality of Mafra, namely: Territory & Sustainability; Economy & Employment; Housing & Quality of Life; Mobility & Transport; Identity & Heritage; Biodiversity; Climate Change & Risks; Active Participation; Operationalisation and Monitoring.

The 1st revision of the PDM, currently in force, was approved in 2015. This plan has been updated in response to the entry into force of laws or regulations, the need to make it compatible with other programmes, plans and according to the evolution of economic, social, environmental or cultural conditions, in a total of 6 updates to date.
